R&D activities for Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (RLL) and all the subsidiaries of RLL are centralized in India. Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc. relies on the R&D capabilities of RLL located at Gurgaon, India. These four state-of-the-art and multi-disciplinary facilities are located on an interactive research campus that is considered one of the most advanced research centers in the country. Ranbaxy’s considerable R&D strengths are based on the knowledge and experience of 1,100+ scientists/PhDs, and other technical personnel, whose combined experience foments our drive and dedication to research on a global scale.

Our major strengths and core competencies lie in the development and commercialization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and generic dosage forms in line with regulatory and quality requirements. We have an established infrastructure and capabilities in the area of New Drug Discovery Research and Novel Drug Discovery Systems. Our well-defined programs in the areas of Pharmaceutical Development, Synthetic Chemistry, Custom Synthesis Fermentation and Clinical Development contribute significantly to our development efforts.
